Carnival sells the drink packages for I think like $55/day. If you want to get and stay drunk, you can do it for around $400 for a week. That's not terribly expensive IMO.

That's very reasonable. Not sure why people would go through all of that other hassle if this is an option.

Yep. i bought the alcohol card. 15 drinks a day for $350 for 8'days (make sure you buy out of port to save 60$ on taxes) I had my 15 everyday and saved close to 700$. I also drank long islands or gin and tonic only, both 9.75$ a pop
