Last night ULL fans were saying that Robicheaux pitched their 3d pitcher the first game because they expected Lange to shut them down, so they spotted us game 1 and preferred to come back in the last two elimination games. Sounded like the crack talking.

I think it was a good decision. Yea, it didn't workout, but I agree with it.

You might make fun of this strategy but he almost stole game one with it and was tied into the 7th of game two as well. Robicheaux played to win the regional it didn't workout but not because of his decisions but because LSU was just better. He is a heck of a baseball coach and ULL should be proud of their performance.

I would question any coach who thought it prudent to concede a game to a superior team, on their home field, in a best 2 of 3 formatted series.

I doubt if he was really conceding game one but coaches generally throw their ace against the other team's ace (see Friday night in the SEC) in order to provide their team with its best chance of winning

Did anyone else catch Ben McDonald's comment when he called ULL a "Mid Major" school?

Does anyone really think it made any difference? It wasn't like ULLs Friday starter was getting shelled for 8 ERs or anything. Thanks to the 3B LSU was held in check. Saturday the same thing occurred just the CF held LSU for most of the game. Unless someone comes out and pitches a complete game shutout nothing would have changed. LSU still help ULL the entire game as well.
