People up here in TN were giving me crap for LSU playing a directional school for the right to go to the CWS.
Wow..was in TN a few weeks ago. People sure do come down from the backwoods of the mountains on weekends. Now which direction would these hillbillies be referring to again?

Back when it was open enrollment. NO standards! yes, even USL was the same way

You have obviously spent a lot of time in TN. It is nothing but hillbillies.

I spent 5 days there for a baseball tournament. Chattanooga was pretty cool actually.

Calling UL-L THE University of Louisiana would be sort of like calling MTSU..... THE Tennessee State University...... It simply is not what it is.
MTSU and UL-L are fine places to get a decent education. Both in same conference (I think?). But they simply are not the flagship universities of their respective state. Neither carry the national prestige of LSU or UT.

Chattanooga is a cool town. They have really pumped the money into the downtown.

Directional schools with inferiority complexes = Double trouble

Wife and I really enjoyed what little time we had while being there. We ate at a couple of nice restaurants downtown, Henen Steaks?..about a block from the minor league baseball park downtown. It was nice temperature, great food, nice people and clean. would def go back if it wasn't so far away for a long weekend

gave LSU all they could handle in this series
Nice effort by the Cajuns, but they hardly gave LSU all they could handle. The Cajuns didn't win game and didn't even own a lead in 18 innings of baseball.

umm right. See the pic of Paul on the front page of the Advocate. His starfish is finally unpuckered with the win tonight.

Ah so back when it had horribly horriby low standards?
