Ok, would the ul-Laf fans please drop that stupid response! Just because a person did not attend a said school (which I have degrees from LSU, McNeese, & USL so don't try to call me a sidewalk fan) they can't be a fan of that school's athletic program? If that's the case, only people who live in NOLA can be Saints & Pelican fans. Only people who live in Houston, New York, or Boston can be Astros, Yankees, & Sox fans. And I better not hear of any non-Californians or Clevelanders watching the NBA finals! You think EVERY ul-Laf fan holds a degree from there? WRONG! So get off that high horse & quit making excuses for the difference in fanbase size between LSU & ul-Laf. And while you're at it, that whole "walmart fan" thing is pretty stupid too, I'm pretty sure a large majority of ragin Cajun fans buy their gear from Albertsons on Johnston street; is a "grocery store fan" better than a "Walmart fan"? Degree or not, be a fan of whatever program you want to be & quit bitching like a little girl about things that don't mean squat when it comes to which team you choose to be a fan of.

The difference is that those that could not attend LSU for various reasons either wanted to goto LSU and most of the time send their kids to THE flagship university. So no they are not alumni on paper but are LSU ALUMNI. ..BY CHOICE!

How is the obligation of being fanatical about the sports programs of the school you attended less "bandwagoning"? Most people don't start college until they are 18 or older. Myself and most Tiger fans have been so since we were in diapers. We grew up loving it. What, we have to de-program ourselves to stop loving something because of an educational business transaction we make later in life? Some of us have multiple degrees from multiple universities. What do you want us to do in that situation? Kill ourselves in a mad fit of confusion?

I will assume this is a error because the only UL is the University of Louisville.

I agree that Louisville fan base is pretty tight.

Well Yeah. Ull hasn't had any success to garner sidewalk fans.

That's a surefire way of sending the property values of the surrounding homes into the shitter.

Don't care about colors but I'm from the Laffy area and Love my Tigers. I would bet 80% of the people in this area are more Tiger fans than ULL fans.

But tRant told me everyone in Lafayette wears Affliction and hates LSU?? I'm so confused.

Right on brother. Most LSU fans don't graduate from any school. They want to cut education not realizing LSU is only there for that reason ( at least in theory). Always amazed at the stupidity of LSU fans.

If you're always amazed at something, then you must be the stupid one

Your hard earned tax dollars are going to IBM and Blue Cross. Why don't you ask them to form a football program you can support?
