Eggs don't cause high cholesterol. Wish that stupidity would die already. Along with the stupidity of salt causing high blood pressure.

Eggs are very healthy. I try and eat as many as I can, but usually turns out to be just two a day.

Btw, I pay 1.29 for my two eggs in a cup at the deli in the office every morning. Something to be said for convenience.

That's not universally true, the thought is now, some people's bodies don't account for cholesterol intake, they just make a flat amount. So for some eating a ton of eggs could be bad.

Thats not entirely accurate. Nutrionists are backing down in the eliminate eggs thing and trying to reclassify the whole good cholesterol bad cholesterol thing, but eggs are high in cholesterol and if you eat too many than you may have a high cholesterol problem. Same thing with salt. Moderation is the key, they recommend that the average American should eat no more than 4-7 eggs/week.

If you eat 2/day every day of the week you might want to cut back.

ETA: I was off by one egg. It is 4-7 eggs/wk.

What's the healthiest way to eat them? I've been eating them hard-boiled lately.
