if you are truly moving to Seattle, I highly recommend living in Ballard

Not the first time I have seen Ballard recommended, I appreciate it

I love misty weather between 40-50 degrees so this might be my place

I really am moving, I posted a thread a few weeks ago about the interview process and many posters said I wasn't getting the job

be prepared to pay for Ballard though

if you can't afford Ballard or closer to Seattle proper, our friends lived in Edmonds and it seemed pretty cool

just traffic on I-5 sucked

Bad arse city. You will like it. Not many fatties, good food, great music scene, great fishing.

I'd recommend it as well unless you want to commute for an hour during peak traffic times. It's close to downtown and has a decent layout. It seems I always end up there when I go to Seattle for any length of time
