There was talk of a chance of a tropical system in the western gulf next week. That would be really bad timing. What would be bad is if Wright Patman somehow goes over its dam while the river is up as it is being held back right now to lessen flooding. Texoma went 6 feet over the dam so there wasn't anything they could do there.

We're supposed to get rain next Thursday-Saturday. I doubt the river will drop anything significant by then.
Strike that, now it's supposed to rain Tuesday-Sunday.
