COMMITTED
Ed Alexander - DT
Glen Logan - DT/DE

Rashard Lawrance - DT
Stephon Taylor - DT
Caleb Roddy - DE
Andre Anthony - DE
Raekwon Davis - DT (Alabama commitment)
Erick Fowler - DE/OLB
Rahssan Thornton - DE/OLB

Pretty sure Roddy will get his offer this weekend and everyone else holds an offer.

How do you all see this playing out?

How many total DL do you think LSU takes? 6? 3 DTs, 1 DT/DE Hybrid, and 2 DEs?

The way Steele is offering, I feel like we're going to a hybrid more. It's hard to tell because there's still so many on the board (including Gooden which he was already mentioned). On that list, I don't think we will have much of a shot with Davis though. Bama commit from Mississippi just seems odd to switch to LSU, especially if Lawrence and Taylor join on

I'd say lets hope Lawrence hops on board. I think he's the best DT in this class.

I don't think we get Davis. Plus at 6'7", I think he has O-line written all over him.

Snag Lawrence and Taylor at DT. Logan is a hybrid. Anthony from Karr at DE, then you try to get a guy like Gooden from out of state, if he doesn't work out Roddy is still there.

But it's possible Roddy impresses enough this weekend/summer and gets an offer and we get both he and Anthony from in state. Take all the Louisiana guys you can if they're LSU quality IMO

Oliver may be a Houston commit, but he is not off of LSU's board.

Considering anthony got the offer and Roddy hasn't, I think the rankings are out of order.

Andre Anthony will be more of a hyprid than a true DE too

I see a defense coming up in a couple of years that will make us almost forget the '11 defense. I'm talkin' single points against us average for the season.

Unconditional Takes:
Lawrence
Davis
Fowler
Taylor (maybe)

Conditional on who else is committed:
rest of field

Just my wild arse guess!

Take

Roddy, Gooden DEs
Lawrence DT
Taylor (I see him as an OT)

Thorton and Anthony as LB/EDGE

possibly Fowler but definitely him if he wants in.

Lawrence just got another CB to LSU today. Taylor has gotten 2 CBs to LSU in the past few days. It seems like the dominoes are falling faster now.
