It's hard to believe that they're that sensitive, considering their profession.

(Not saying you're wrong, but I just find it an odd place to draw the line.)

Most, if not all versions of baseball rules prohibit the arguing of ball/strike and out/safe calls. It has been established that it isn't technically arguing until the "discussion" is directed at the umpire, therefore it is all based on how the person choses his words. Once he uses the term "you" there is no doubt who his argument is directed at, therefore he is in violation of the rule which spells out that the "penalty" shall be ejection.
