Off the top of my head some of the best:

Tioga Road in Yosemite
Beartooth Highway in Yellowstone
Pacific Coast Highway, especially going north from San Fran up to Oregon
Million Dollar Highway Colorado
Going to the Sun Road Glacier National Park
Road that goes through Zion National Park
Bunch of Roads near North Rim of the Grand Canyon
Pikes Peak
Roads in Denali

Local to me:
Blue Ridge Parkway especially southern sections
US441 through the Smokies
Cherohala Skyway just south of the Smokies
Parson's Branch flowing into US129 in the Smokies/border of Smokies
US64 Franklin to Highlands North Carolina

quote:

US 129 The Tail of the Dragon between Tennessee and North Carolina.

Tail of the Dragon is a store located on the North Carolina side of the border. It's the Dragon.

Yes...there is a store called The Tail of the Dragon...but the road is also referred to as "The Tail of the Dragon"...we often shorten it to "The Dragon"...
