Beyond the action scene, why does it rank so high? Action scene was great, especially because the show moves so slowly, any action is welcome. Take away the fighting scene and it's just like every other dull episode this season.

Tyrion joining Daeny's storyline will make hers FAR more interesting. I enjoyed their scenes together.

The Cat and the Canal Scene was great, Cersei begging in the tombs and her scene with Qyburn were great, Sansa and Theon's scene was great, and Tyrion and Dany meeting was great. Only thing I think wasn't simply great was Ramsay's scene, but that's solely set-up.

And if you tell me "The Watchers on the Wall" is in your favorite episodes, then you're a hypocrite. No substance to that episode but a long battle.

You and I watch GoT for completely different reasons. I loved the Dany/Tyrion scenes almost as much as the battle. I'd rather watch two characters on GoT talk than watch the set pieces....even as great as their battles look.

I have yet to see a bad episode of GoT. I don't really know where this one ranks all time, but it's probably a top 6-7 episode for me.

Tyrion becoming Danny's adviser and Sansa learning the truth about her brothers from Theon were pretty huge
