I've still got about 1/4 of the bag. My usual procedure is a normal application and then a lighter one about 3-4 weeks later. I held off on the latter this year after seeing what was going on.
I wonder if a photo of the bag with possibly a lot number from it would suffice.

I did the same.... unfortunately, I went ahead with the second application.
Luckily, I logged into my Home Depot account and found my receipt to be listed there.
