if you (not you but you people) can't afford an Airstream (and/or don't have tie to remodel one), then find a used Escape. You can tow them behind all sorts of good MPG vehicle and mod for the energy/water stuff.

No, you're reading my mind. Retrofitting the catchment, solar and wind for that amt of needed power/water wouldn't be terribly expensive. And it moooooves...
