So what you're saying is he stayed loyal. He got lucky and landed in a great spot. But point is he was still loyal.
If Lebron had stayed in Cleveland despite the players he had around him, he'd probably be more loved than MJ. But he didn't. Fans appreciate loyalty despite the circumstances around you. When you're easily the best player in the league and you willingly leave a team that is pretty much considered your hometown, you have to expect to be hated for the rest of your career. That's just common sense.

Uhh no that's not common sense. LeBron did that and certainly isn't hated in Cleveland and it's pretty reasonable to say a minority of NBA fans hate him.
