Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I have heard of a lot of people having to rebuild engines because of AFM related issues

Our company mechanic used to be a tech at a Chevy dealership and he said to prevent this you should run blended synthetic oil and change it at no more than 5000 miles no matter what the oil life thing says.
