There are some satellites (GPS) that are pretty damn bright. They are the brightest objects in the sky at night to our eyes. They are to close to view with a powerful telescope, and to far away, about 13 thousand miles, to see a clear image with binoculars. If you can get a point of reference and be very still you can see them move or "wiggle". The machine rotates in a slow spin which causes the reflection of the sunlight to flicker and the change colors, brightening and dimming.
