Huge fan back in the day, had all their albums, even the solo stuff by Koppes and Willson-Piper on Rykodisc.
And as much as I love Starfish, I had already been a fan of them, and was glad for better or worse at times, that they escaped their "Westernized" too tight ways formed from excessive Mutt Lange-esque drill sergeant studio demands by Waddy Wachtel and Greg Ladanyi(two of my fav 80s/90s rock producers) for these Aussies to tighten up their loose psychedelic sound and approach, in attempting a huge breakthrough album for Arista.
