The Church has a good sound. I remember wearing out Starfish a lot in the mid 80's.I got into them about the same time as Hoodoo Gurus, The Smiths and The Cure.

My top 10 Church songs:
1. Antennae
2. Is This Where You Live?
3. Myhrr
4. Under the Milky Way
5. Reptile
6. Memories in Future Tense
7. Fields of Mars
8. Hotel Womb
9. A New Season
10. Louisiana
I have 115 songs from them on my phone. Seriously, I know of no other band that has put out a catalog wuite like The Church.

I started getting into them as well. Mars Needs Guitars is in my vinyl collection. I actually found that album at FYE on College.
When I bought Starfish that day in Arlington, TX, I also bought The Cult "Love", The Doors "Greatest Hits", and Simple Minds "Pure Fascination". Yep, The Church springboarded me away from FM radio (dominated by groups like Creed and Puddle of Mudd) and made me rediscover -- thanks to the internet -- a new love for that 1980's dark-wave and dreamy pop rock. The Gurus are awesome. Australia has put out some incredible bands.
