All I saw was the ESPN highlight that showed the call. Harper kept both feet in the box, and chirped a bit while adjusting his helmet and his grip. Didn't even look back at the umpire while doing it. Then it jumped to him 10 feet out of the box prior to the ejection so until I see what transpired in between, I'll reserve judgment on that part.

I will say that by the time he got that far out of the box and turned back to the umpire, he had decided he was going to get tossed and wanted his money's worth. Same with Williams when he came out of the dugout.

Watch the same clip? That's exactly what he did. Looked dead at him.
