I started dating my wife when she was 2 months shy of 19 and I was 25. Worked out fine for us apparently 
ETA: I was still at LSU though, so we were in a similar time in our lives.

Age gap wise it is fine. Logistically that would suck though. 19yr old can't get in certain bars. Probably a Freshman/Sophomore trying to get wild. 24yr old probably settled down a little bit, maybe has a job or is in grad school.

Started dating my wife when she was 19 and I was 24. While we worked together. Different departments so that was a plus, but yes the first two years there were some moments when I felt like I was dating a kid. Then I realized that it was pretty much all women who were devoid of reason and I eventually came around.
