Every argument I've made has been backed up with links. As for "putting yourself in a shitty situation", this was a fricking monthly COC meeting. These meetings literally take place all across the nation all the time and have for decades with not the first issue like this ever happening before. To the rank and file regular COC members, there was nothing to indicate this would be anything more than just like all the COC meetings they'd attended for years before that fateful meeting in Waco.
