I buy from my vet because they somehow manage to get that vile smelling pill down the dog's throat, something I can't seem to be able to do. It's worth a few bucks not to have to deal with that.

For Comfortis and Trifexis, my dogs eat them without any need for a pill pocket or peanut butter.

However, if you are having trouble getting your dog to take medication, pill pockets from Costco are wonderful.

The young vet tech can get my dog to do shite it would take 4 grown men to handle.

As for the pill, place it on the porch or floor and smother it with easy cheese. Dog should gobble it up no problem.

Do the heartworm shot. I pay $30 for my pug and $50 for my lab and it lasts 6 months.
