He doesn't have to look elsewhere. Companies are hiring worms as you put it. Just not in positions that are generally thought when one thinks about going offshore. The good ones don't stay BR hands for long. I just pulled two outside to be a part of the marine team.

I have a guy on one of my jobs. Ex military, zero experience before 3 weeks ago. Doing great.
People are hiring, all positions. Just gotta look. If you don't have a job, you're just lazy.
