So I started watching this week and I'm up to episode 7. I love the show. Does it continue getting better? Danny just heard the old police tapes and Kevin got his arse kicked. I'm hoping it doesn't keep building up to just let me down.

Yes, it does. There's like a 10+ page thread on here that's probably buried somewhere where people were posting in it as they watched. The overwhelming consensus is that the first few eps took a bit to get going, but the last ~4ish episodes are top notch. If you're loving it at ep7, I don't see any way you would be disappointed overall after you're done.

One of the best on Netflix currently. Just an overall fantastic show, great acting as well

Good show and really liked the pacing of it.
I had a gripe with the way it ended, but I'll leave it at that.

My wife and I are also on episode 7. Fun fact, we have some friends that were married at that hotel IRL.

Yes it does. This show literally gets better with each episode through to the very end. It's definitely a slow burn at first, but I think all that time invested in the setup of the characters is part of what makes the pay offs towards the end so effective.

I really liked it.

10-13 area favorite stretch of episodes in a long while.

The show is just masterfully shot and paced. I think it really highlights the production quality of she is these days--along with shows like True Detective, GOT, Broadchurch, Sherlock, etc.

It is up there with the first 2 HOC season as far as netflix is concerned. Really good

Thought it was excellent. Wonderful cast. Beautiful production. Really captures the feel of a modern southern gothic.

I just finished the season a couple days ago. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to more.
I would also really enjoy intercourse with Meg/Linda Cardellini(Lindsay Weir).

If you like it so far you will continue to like it. I thought it was good but not great. Others as you can see love it. I will definitely watch the next season. It certainly beats what's on most networks.
