Not what this is about. It's about private business not being able to make the decisions they want to make regarding things like this because the nanny staters exploit work environment laws.

For some, it's like going out to eat and not being able to have a glass of wine with their steak.

It's a stupid law and will cost NOLA to lose tons of money, but NOLA never was good at generating money, so there is that.
