Personally I don't care for it either, but that's more to do with personal taste than its performance. Some like the extra weight. I think polymer frame pistols at traditional metal frame prices are a gimick. Much cheaper to make.

If a polymer guns outperforms a metal framed gun 10 times over, does it sway your opinion. Let's take a Beretta M9 and a Glock 17 and drop both in the mud then roll them in the sand and then put 5 mags through each and see which one functions. Or, we can take a 1911 and a Glock and run them both with unlimited rounds and see which one FTF first. The value of polymer guns is in the performance.
