You have to ask yourself, is Boxing more about not getting hit or hitting your opponent. Mayweather has mastered the not getting hit part and racking up punches that don't do much in the way of damage. Thats considered a win in boxing currently. Will they change how they score fights? Probably not, because what he doesn't isn't easily replicated.

I don't disagree with that. I have no issues with counter punchers. Boxing is as known as a The Sweet Science. Being a counter puncher career boxer means you are probably one of the most technically sound and patient boxers in the world.
But I don't think Mayweather has had the opportunity to fight enough contenders or champions to be considered pound for pound an all time great. Even tho he's 48-0. It's not his fault. Besides 4-5 people he's fought of name, most of the general public couldn't name you anyone of note he's faced. And I believe most boxing experts agree with that sentiment.

This is where I question the way boxing is scored. A round is scored 10-9 in favor of the one who landed more punches if no knockdowns occur. 10-8 if knockdowns occur. So say Manny actually knocks Floyd down in the 4th and causes major damage such as swollen shut eye, busted nose, etc. Then the rest of the fight went the way it did on Saturday.... Floyd would have won the fight even tho he's the one who got beat up. Hell Manny could have had another knockdown in another round that he had orginally won and still lost the fight by like 2rounds .
