There's certainly lots of pressure to limit motorized use in some areas.
I choose to support organizations like the AMA that lobby for maintaining motorized use in these areas. They have had some success in maintaining land use rights for motorized vehicles and have even gotten areas opened up that were never open before.
But I agree there is constant pressure from tree huggers who think any type of motorized use is too much. These are the same folks wanting to ban lead ammo (a roundabout way to limit your gun rights).
