I've watched their AB's somewhat closely and it just seems like right now they are missing their pitches. Bryant is drawing walks but we'd like to see Soler be more patient.
They are simply caught in between. Taking lots of pitches right down the middle of the plate over the weekend and chasing pitches out of the zone. Bryant chased a lot of high fastballs against Fiers. Soler has been chasing sliders. They are slumping.
Not even slightly concerned about this lineup right now though. They will go on tears and they will have slumps.

Chris Coghlan is also struggling
His numbers suck, but this isn't entirely true if you've watched his at bats. He would have had 3 homeruns in 1 game against the Pirates last week if the wind wasn't blowing straight in.

Coghlan's K rate is slightly elevated for him (20.8% in 2015) and his LD% is 27% (7% points above MLB average). His BABiP is .229 and for his career he's a .318 BABiP hitter--last year he was at .337. I don't know that the Cubs are panicking about Coghlan at all and I'm okay with that.
If I were betting, I'd say the Cubs let him figure it out or see if he comes out of the slump before making some kind of move to address it. And I'm perfectly fine with that.
