If Dallas Baptist remains in the top 3 in RPI they will likely be a national seed. But their last two weekend series will likely hurt their chances of staying that high. Dallas Baptist was substantially helped by having their 4 game home series with Massachusetts Lowell rained out earlier in the season. Their RPI is where it is because of the number of road games they have played and the fact that they have played a lot of midweek competition against top quality Texas and Oklahoma schools and avoided playing teams in the 200+ RPI range like Southern, Grambling, Alcorn St. and UNO.
