Baseball is their only D1 sport if I remember correctly. They've been a highly successful baseball program at every level they've been at. Up until maybe 2 years ago, they were a baseball independent. But now they're in the Missouri Valley.

Their RPI is mostly a result of playing almost their entire non conference schedule on the road and playing some decent to good teams. They are also benefitting from an abnormally good year in the MVC with Missouri St and Bradley being as good as they are.

ETA: They're typically a really well coached team and seem to have a couple top 5 round pitchers every year.
