Yup. That's exactly what I think of him. I think Pels fans would love him for a few years, and then they would peak, and it wouldn't be pretty.

I think he's just such a good defensive coach and motivator that he can make any team competitive. That said, it's hard to take any team a step farther when the offensive schemes are so limited.

I think he'd be an obvious upgrade, but I kinda have similar thoughts. I think he immediately makes this a 50+ win team, but how would he do in he playoffs? Does having Davis give him that nudge into championship caliber? I don't want to waste a player like AD.
