You realize we live in a society now that is social media obsessed and the media hit a team would take on this would be pretty substantial even if the guy is innocent right? This isn't the 90's and early 2000's when teams can have murderers on their teams and let the legal system work it out.

Hell, you just had an NFL player convicted of one murder and on trial for two more. On top of that, you have numerous domestic and physical abuse issues around the league, and you think that their even willing to take on a guy with this type of media baggage?

It sucks for La'el if he's innocent, but this is the world today because of idiots on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and message boards that need to know everything all the time and want to be known.
