We'll see soon enough. I have zero knowledge on LCs situation. But I do have more expensive knowledge of what general tactics investigators use and also gowbthey gather info before they speak to a suspect. LC is absolutely a suspect. That I know. Their actions have dictated it and his lawyer indicated that with his own statement.
If he just had information to help them, this would have been done right away. Why would any human not help an investigation?
LCs immediate reaction is what I can't get past. I know it's smart to get a lawyer for official questioning. But when your phone rings and a friend if yours is dead, you stop everything and help the police, IF you are innocent of any wrongdoing, imho.
Did her mom lawyer up? The witness? Her beat friend? Sister? Not that I know of.

But LC did.....and he did it after ignoring requests.

Cops want to get to suspects quickly, but when they lawyer up, they want more info before proceeding with questions.

Sound familiar to this situation?

La'el Collins' attorney said his client answered all questions asked by police during this morning's interview.

Dude stop with the smear campaign. You've been trying your hardest to get everyone to listen to you this entire thread, just stop. You know nothing. If you did, you wouldn't be posting on a fricking message board.

Reminder: Collins has never been considered a suspect in the shooing death of Brittney Mills. No suspects in her death yet.

Even if it's just a girl that he banged several months ago and maybe hasn't spoken to her in several months? What if he knew for a fact he did absolutely nothing wrong and he was getting ready for what should be one of the best(if not THE best) days of his young life. Easy to play couch quarterback after the fact without knowing ANY of the details.

I get what you are saying, but her mom, best friend, and sister weren't waiting to be drafted and they didn't stand to lose millions of dollars. It was absolutely the right thing for him to lawyer up, even if his lawyer was simply there to tell him when to answer questions.

Isn't it his story that he had no communication with the victim since September? I mean, if I had no contact with a casual acquaintance/brief girlfriend/one-night stand for 7 months, my first instincts when contacted by police about their death would be, "Sorry, I haven't communicated with them since September. I don't have any information to offer." If they continued to want to question me after that, I absolutely would lawyer up.

Maybe he was involved in the murder. Maybe he was the father of that child. But maybe she was just a one-off fling. I don't think most people would be too broken up about the death of a one-night stand. Especially in the week leading up to the biggest moment of their career.
