"No Plumbing Permits? No Peace"

quote:

Wal-Mart abruptly closed five stores earlier this month and laid off more than 2,200 employees in the process.

The company said it closed the stores because of severe plumbing problems that, in addition to other potential upgrades, could take as long as six months to fix.

Critics have questioned the closures, with some contending that at least one store was closed in retaliation against worker protests for higher pay. Wal-Mart denies those claims.

Plenty of conspiracy websites have all sorts of ideas and reasons for the closures including of course secret government military operations.

So they're protesting for what they often call "the worst job in America"?

Are you sure this isn't a support group for autism that got lost on a field trip?

Why are they protesting, I thought Walmart pays slave wages and has jobs no one wants?

So they get a job at Walmart, complain about how shitty the job is and how low the pay is, then complain that they can no longer work at said shitty job that they hate? You can't satisfy people like that so why even bother?

The only ones who should be allowed to protest are the TWO that work the checkout lines, while the other 15 lines aren't open (even self checkout)

I honestly believe they do that on purpose, because it happens at every Walmart I've ever been to

These people aren't happy they lost their jobs. I don't see the problem with protesting.
