Thanks. There is good news though that I think will work well. I found rental online at: LINK for $8.
That works perfect for peace of mind and doing it myself. I'm about ready to kick mine into over drive. After the barrel, I'll be ready to finish upper soon.

I have no personal experience w/ the AR. OTOH, I rented a go/no gauge from 4-D about 14 mos ago and was pleased. I was converting a Stevens bolt action rifle chambered for 270 Win to custom barrel in 221 Remington Fireball. At the time, their minimum fee was $10. If they have something you want to buy to make the $10 minimum, that's fine. There was nothing I wanted to buy so the customer service lady just added $2 to my order.
