My wife sent me that article and asked what i thought about the "dad bod".

I told her, you shouldn't have a "dad bod" when you are in college. You should be in shape, and mobile, because when you get to dad age, all that working out and shite gets put on hold. My opinion, if you are in college, go to the gym, work out, run, etc... and stay in shape, because it becomes more of a challenge to do so when you are an actual dad.

I have a 7 month old and we are doing p90x3, but it is hard to even find time for 30 minutes out of the day to workout. You get home, then you have to feed the baby. Then you have to bathe the baby. Then you have your quality time with baby. You have to also cook dinner. and by the time you are done with all of that it's 9 o clock or later. And some time between all of those things you have to find 30 minutes to work out. Its stressful. Don't get me wrong, i love being a dad. But your time is dramatically re prioritized once you have a child, but in a good way.

this is why I get up at 4:30 am to work out now

it was hard at first, but I've made it part of my schedule now and its much easier than trying to find time to workout in the evenings
