Ford has what they call the X Plan. Some people said that they have beat the X Plan pricing, but it is 99% of the time the best deal you will get.
My SIL walked into Robinson Brothers and haggled for hours. BIL showed up and mentioned he had X Plan (we didn't know before). They immediately dropped it by several hundred (cant remember how much) dollars.
I know this is Ford and not GM, but some information.
