I'm not sure of the name of the place, but they also serve kolaches at that new donut shop on Essen,
Ed's Donuts. Really nice guy, best blueberry (cake-like) donuts I've had. My husband likes their kolaches, but I've never tried them. A lot of donut shops around BR seem to have a limited selection of kolaches--usually sausage or sausge/cheese.
Kolache Kitchen is different from the donut shop selection in that they have different types of kolaches, empanadas, "rancheros", and breakfast tacos. Some sweet fillings but mostly savory. The savory items have meat, meat and cheese, or some mix egg along with a meat or potato. Besides the regular sausage/dough concoction, most of them have some type of kick to them (added salsa?), although the breakfast tacos have the salsa on the side.
