Some stats:
-- State is 19-2 when leading after five innings, but 4-20 when trailing or tied after five.
-- LSU is 31-3 when leading after five innings, and 7-4 when tied or trailing after five.
-- The Bulldogs are 17-2 when holding opponents to two runs or less, but 6-20 when opponents score three runs or more.
-- LSU has scored at least 3 runs in 41 of 45 games (37-4 record).
-- State is 3-11 in night games
-- LSU is 22-5 in night games
-- State pitchers allow a .270 avg against RHB and .246 against LHB
-- LSU pitchers allow a .216 avg against RHB and .263 against LHB

When you consider how badly two of their starters are struggling, this is a scary statistic for State!
I'll give you another scary stat for State fans to consider: LSU is 38-7 when starting games tied 0-0!
