I know we have the tiger, but...

- Warren Morris rounding third base with #1 in air
- Wally Pontiff standing at third base
- Skip signaling calls
- Ben McDonald pitching (Our only golden spikes winner)
- Brad Cresse (arms up in omaha- Johnny Bench award winner)

Other?

Skip Bertman is the only answer. He is the greatest coach in any sport in LSU history.

There is only one name and it is extremely simple to figure that out. Who is the individual responsible over the past 30 years for building the LSU baseball program to what it is today?

Skip Bertman

There really isn't anyone else who should be considered!

Skip. He brought LSU baseball to prominence and kept it there for a long time. I don't think our baseball team is what it is today without Skip.

Friggin Skip Bertman, that's who! The Warren Morris HR is such an iconic part of LSU baseball that I wouldn't object to that being a part of the statue. But Skip built this, and he built it out of nothing.
