I'm with you. The fact that this guy graduated early, has New Orleans roots, and allegedly wants LSU to contact him are big, positive intangibles. It suggests maturity and loyalty. Kasongo's intangibles don't measure up nearly as well. Jarreau and Kasongo are similar in size and Jarreau has better experience. Maybe one can make an argument that Kasongo is more explosive and has a higher ceiling but he also probably has a lower floor. I hope LSU makes a serious play for Jarreau.

And just that he's going in to his 5th year in college and will likely get a 6th year. That's big from a maturity standpoint and he could be a real asset to a team built mainly around Freshmen next year.

I would take either, wish we can take both but we need some shot blockers at that's what kasongo does. They are about the same size but kasongo'a coach said he has a 40 inch vertical. On the other hand Jarreau can shoot threes so he can probably shoot free throws as well and that is something kasongo cannot do.
