any info that LSU is looking at him?
Not that I've heard. I did see an article on Nola dot com with a quote from Jernard's AAU coach saying he wanted to hear from LSU though. He did say he has heard from over a dozen teams already though.
Kasongo is still coming on his visit to LSU this coming weekend so there may be some hesitancy, but I feel like I'd rather Jarreau than Kasongo.

I'm with you. The fact that this guy graduated early, has New Orleans roots, and allegedly wants LSU to contact him are big, positive intangibles. It suggests maturity and loyalty. Kasongo's intangibles don't measure up nearly as well. Jarreau and Kasongo are similar in size and Jarreau has better experience. Maybe one can make an argument that Kasongo is more explosive and has a higher ceiling but he also probably has a lower floor. I hope LSU makes a serious play for Jarreau.

If we know about him, the staff sure as heck does. I would be shocked if they didn't pursue him hard.
SOS I also talked to Big Elbert on campus for a few. First off, that baw looked 260, definitely passed the eye test. He also said he was injured most of the season like we all assumed. seemed pumped about next season
