Maybe too many rawhides and peanut butter though

Look, I'm sorry about your dog. It's just that swelling of the pancreas at that age is not a good sign, and unless it was some rare environmental cause, chances are it's going to happen again.

$1500 is a fair price for an estimate.

Could be that, could be $1,000. They quoted you the high end.

Most vets don't gouge patients/clients.
