I thought this was an excellent episode. One of the best in a while.
The Wall storyline is moving along fine. John settling in as Lord Commander and the Slynt stuff was satisfying (sure I'd have like to hear "Ed, fetch me a block" but calling for his sword was almost as good (and probably more understandable for the Hodors). Though I wish Jon had pronounced sentence on Slynt before executing him. Would have been a nice call back to Ned.
The Tyrion stuff may have been even better than the Wall. Goood the see he's getting a bit of his spunk back (the "sucking a dwarf's cock" line was great) And Just in time for Jorah to show up and nab him. Though since he was apparently heading for Danny anyway I guess the only practical effect it will have will be to make his journey a lot less pleasant for him but more interesting for us to watch).
Will save my thoughts on the Arya and Sansa story lines for a later post other than to say I liked both.
