Correct. But besides NBA players, how many people are that big? .0001% of the population maybe?

I agree, but that's not a lot of people. And certainly no one on this board.

Im 5"11 and can palm a ball and most avg person in the world. In hs right before half i got a missed ft (from bottom block)standing under their goal took one step and made it full court at buzzer. It was a baseball throw but it wasnt a lunge by any means..i stepped and watched it standing where i was when i threw it...
yes nba courts are longer but if someone as avg as me can do it without having to do more than a step into it then is not unthinkable plenty can thats not nba

I think one guy said he could palm it. The rest of us just said we could throw it without needing a running start.

Me too

I just mean it was effortless. And I doubt anyone here could do it. Agree to disagree MSB. I just don't believe it because I have never seen it that effortless before in any video in my life.

And I agree you can make it without a running start. But it still wouldn't look anything like lebrons throw. And not because you arent 6'8" and black, I know that is the stupid line you were about to drop

Isn't the palming part your whole argument?

Because I said earlier that I can throw it one-handed the full length of the court pretty easily. I can't palm it like he did... you have to hold your palm up the whole time you are winding up to throw it so that the ball doesn't come out of your hand...

But if they said they can't palm it like that, how is it any different from what I said?

No the palming part isn't my whole point. It is that as well as the effortlessness. I have no clue how this is so hard for you and others to understand

I'm sure anybody here who played baseball could do it just as easily.

I can throw a basketball the full length of the court pretty easily.

I have a brother who played college baseball. I went out one day to throw long toss with him because he wanted to get some work in over a holiday break, and eventually we were the entire length of a football field, and he was throwing it to me on more or less or a rope. It wasn't a big blooping throw. It had a little air under it, but it was coming into my glove with some force.

I couldn't even get it back to him on a bounce. I had to run up and throw it as hard as I can, and it wouldn't make it to him. He would have to run up and pick the ball up, then run back out to the end zone and launch another one. That really opened my eyes as to how far these guys can throw.

I bet he could launch a full-court shot just as effortless as LeBron. But he also cannot palm the ball.

Then we will have to agree to disagree no need to argue anymore

Not as easy as LeBron.. but throwing it as hard as I can would be too hard. I'd have to put some touch on it.
