Yeah I feel like it's fairly obvious. I'm impressed he can express a surprising amount of emotion in spite of this though. The little breakdown in Chateau Lobby is a good example of this.

I had heard this. But It didn't come across as such to me....and I have seen performers that can pull the ironic thing off. He did sit down and talk to the crowd and have a little back and forth with some people up front and he came across better....really, really dry since of humor.

Also, the magic in his music, instrumentally speaking, is heard best in the studio.
