Not at Briarwood. Drop below a 2.5 and you're put on probation for a semester. Don't pull it up, and you're gone.

Any violations of the morality code were instant expulsions.

And the funny thing is, the kids there are all great kids from really good families. If there's one school that doesn't need its own police force, it's BCS.

sometimes when you try and shelter kids too much it backfires.

I'll never forget my experience at a private school. My mom worked at one in Mobile so me, my brother, and my sister all had discounted tuition.

we had all gone to public school for most of our lives. So going to a private school was totally different. Sometimes I think if I hadn't played any sports things would have just sucked there.

I would have never guessed there would be so much drinking or drug use there. There was more drinking it seemed like but the year after I graduated they started doing hair follicle drug tests.

That just means everybody's good at keeping up appearances and sweeping things under the rug.

And this church/school/whatever's insurance carrier is gonna love the idea of an untrained, presumably armed, staffer roaming around with the powers of arrest and authorized to use deadly force. As will the plaintiff's lawyer who gets to depose this "officer" and the people who hire him.
