I think it's work rate related. Neither are true CMs, willing to do all of the work defensively. Bradley does that in spades, Mix appears willing.
Nguyen and Feilhaber have made improvements over the last 18 months in that area. Both are willing to challenge if the ball is nearby. I don't know that I would count on either to make a 40-60 yard sprint to come back to an open man or break up a play. They would more often than Dempsey would, but I don't think that says a whole lot.
