FWIW - noone really cares about creating mock schedules.

Don't go speaking for everyone else.

Here's my mock schedule:

Week 1: @Washington
Week 2: Detroit
Week 3: NY Giants
Week 4: @Indianapolis
Week 5: @Houston
Week 6: Bye
Week 7: Jacksonville
Week 8: @Philadelphia
Week 9: Dallas
Week 10: Atlanta
Week 11: @Atlanta
Week 12: Tennessee
Week 13: @Tampa Bay
Week 14: Tampa Bay
Week 15: @Arizona
Week 16: Carolina
Week 17: @Carolina

This would never happen, but I like the idea of having home and away-type series with your division rivals.

I like your back-to-back idea. If it were to happen, I think you would see a lot more splits between division teams. Monday-Saturday would almost serve as a "six-day halftime" for the losing team to make necessary adjustments and get the win, or at least make it more competitive.
